Beacons Bus
Explore the National Park with special buses that run on Summer Sundays and Bank Holidays and you can bring your bike too!
Beacons Bus is ideal for a car-free day out in the Brecon Beacons National Park on summer Sundays and Bank Holidays from May to September. Buses run from major surrounding towns and cities to bring you into Brecon in the morning, arriving at 11am. You can then choose from a number of routes to visit different areas of the Park, or spend the day in Brecon and then catch your bus back home at the end of the day. You can even bring your bike – the Cardiff bus tows a bike trailer, which then shuttles between Brecon and Abergavenny during the day before returning to Cardiff.
Why not catch the bus up from Cardiff and then cycle back along the Taff Trail?
