Getting Here
Getting to the Brecon Beacons National Park is pretty straightforward, wherever you come from and however you get here.
Railways and roads link the area easily to the rest of the UK, there's a regular ferry to Ireland, and the well-connected Cardiff International Airport's only an hour away.
We're trying our hardest to keep the carbon emissions we kick out in the Beacons to a minimum, though, so all we ask is that you at least consider this when you're deciding how to get here and how to get around once you've arrived.
Bit by bit, we're doing our best to make it as easy as we can for you to forget about the car for a few days, so have a think about the possibilities, and use the journey planner for more details. We’ve linked with Traveline Cymru to give you the most up-to-date information possible.
